FAQs

What makes Pocket Wolf treats different?

Our treats are made from carefully selected natural ingredients and gently freeze-dried to preserve flavour and nutrients without artificial preservatives or fillers.

Are your treats suitable for both dogs and cats?

Many of our single-ingredient treats are suitable for both dogs and cats. Please check the individual product page for feeding recommendations.

What is freeze-drying?

Freeze-drying removes moisture while retaining the natural nutrition, taste, and texture of raw ingredients, creating a shelf-stable treat pets love.

Do you use artificial additives?

No. Pocket Wolf products contain no artificial colours, flavours, preservatives, or unnecessary fillers.

How should I store the treats?

Keep the pouch sealed in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight. Reseal after each use to maintain freshness.

Are your treats suitable for puppies and kittens?

Yes! Many of our treats can be enjoyed by puppies and kittens from 12 weeks of age. As every product is different, we always recommend checking the individual product description for the recommended age, feeding guidelines and any specific advice before offering it to your pet.

How should I use air-dried and freeze-dried treats? Do they need to be soaked in water?

Not necessarily. Our air-dried and freeze-dried treats can be fed straight from the pack as a delicious, crunchy reward.

If your pet prefers a softer texture, or if you're feeding a young puppy, kitten or senior pet, you can soak the treats in a little warm water for a few minutes before serving.

Many of our treats can also be crumbled over your pet's food as a tasty meal topper to add extra flavour and protein.

If the treats are larger than you'd like, you can easily break them into smaller pieces. Alternatively, we also offer Bite-Sized varieties, which are perfect for training, smaller breeds and puppies or kittens over 12 weeks of age.

As always, please check the individual product description for any product-specific feeding recommendations.

Are your treats suitable for senior dogs and cats?

Yes! Most of our treats are suitable for senior dogs and cats, provided they are appropriate for your pet's individual health and dietary needs.

Our treats are made with natural, high-quality ingredients and are easy to digest. Many recipes also contain naturally beneficial ingredients, such as antioxidant-rich fruits, yoghurt or nutrient-rich proteins, depending on the product.

If your senior pet prefers a softer texture or has dental issues, many of our freeze-dried treats can be soaked in a little warm water before serving or broken into smaller pieces.

As always, please check the individual product description for feeding recommendations and suitability.

Are your treats suitable for pets with sensitive stomachs?

Many of our treats are suitable for pets with sensitive stomachs thanks to their simple, natural recipes and carefully selected ingredients.

Our treats are made with high-quality meat or fish and contain no artificial colours, artificial flavours, preservatives or unnecessary fillers. Many recipes also feature a single source of animal protein, making them a great choice for many pets with dietary sensitivities.

However, every pet is unique. If your dog or cat has a known food allergy or intolerance, always check the ingredient list carefully and choose a product that is appropriate for their individual needs. If you are unsure, we recommend consulting your veterinarian before introducing any new treat.
